They asked for Police but ended up with PCSO Clouseau

PCSO Clouseau

PCSO Clouseau

The No To Bike Parking Tax (NTBPT) campaign group are holding a ‘treat us like cars, we’ll behave like cars’ protest every day this week. This mornings was held at Millbank on the Lambeth Bridge roundabout.

Events were proceeding normally when a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) arrived on his scooter. Little did the riders know that this officer was not there to keep the peace. Instead the NTBPT had been sent PCSO Clouseau to bark at the riders, ordering them into unsafe road positions. This jobs worth of the yard had worked him self up into quite a state, at one point telling a coach driver to knock a biker off his bike.

Unfortunately for PCSO Clouseau a real Policeman happened to be cycling through the area. When the real Chief Inspector tried to have a quiet word with the eager beaver PCSO Clouseau, the Chief Inspector was told ‘No, not now’. Perhaps not the wisest thing to have said to Chief Inspector Switzer, but very brave of PCSO Clouseau none the less.

Poor PCSO Clouseau was shown the Chief Inspectors warrant card and seemed to be in for some kerbside retraining. Incredibly PCSO Clouseau still valiantly tried to direct traffic with just one arm whilst being retrained, what a trooper.

Inspector Jacques Clouseau: There is a time to laugh and a time not
to laugh, and this is not one of them

The dates for the next protest are:

2nd June 2010 WMBC 7:30am Meet outside Costa, Villiers Street, London, WC2

2nd June 2010 WESC 17:30pm Meet outside Costa, Villiers Street, London, WC2

3rd June 2010 WMBC 7:30am Meet outside Costa, Villiers Street, London, WC2

4th June 2010 WMBC 7:30am Meet outside Costa, Villiers Street, London, WC2

The PCSO was encouraging the bus driver to knock off the motorcyclist, had the bus driver done what he was told to do by the PCSO, a serious accident would have happened.
This man should be suspended and disciplined at the very least, and in my opinion he should be sacked for having endangered peoples lives.

Brilliant! What are the chances of you having such a bad day at work…..you’re boss turning up…..you not recognising him ……AND him being on first name terms with the protest leader filming your cock up. “Warren, look after my bike” Classic!

I do hope that an email is being sent to CI Switzer asking for him to investigate the incident of a PCSO encouraging a criminal act to be committed. Who ever was sitting on the bike next to the coach when the PCSO made the astonishing remark showed a great deal of restraint good on him.

The PCSO should be facing disciplinary action without question. You can’t have people there who are supposed to protect the public instructing drivers to knock motorcyclists over.

Colin BatchelorJune 2nd, 2010 at 5:44 pm

He should be sacked. PCSO’s get bad enough publicity and this bloke doesnt help their cause. I do hope the Chief Inspector gets him removed.
Also trying to get a coach driver to endanger lives…….I think the PCSO should see the vid of himself so he can see how antisocial he really is.

this is why we shouldnt have “noddy police”out by themselves!!
as for telling the bus driver to “knock him of”is unforgivable, has this pcso no compation for motorcyclists he turned up on a bloody scooter!!!

If he is not withdrawn from the PCSO role immediately I will retrain as a police officer & work my arse off for promotion until I can sack him.

This is absolute gold-dust. What a prick that PCSO is, complete Jobsworth and when he gets a talking to from Chief Inspector Switzer, that is the icing on the cake.

This is why they call them CHIMPS.
Can’t Help In Most Police Situations.

As admirably demonstrated above….

TonyDJune 3rd, 2010 at 9:21 am

encouraging a person to assault another using their vehicle as a weapon?
surely thats gross misconduct?

phillJune 3rd, 2010 at 10:20 am

brilliant. good on the guys that do the hanging around with the cameras. if it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t have this gold dust, but there would also be a lot more of the improper behaviour.
it’s a very strong deterrent, and re-tells the story in glorious detail when it’s not deterrent enough.

brilliant job camera guys.

oh … and this guy needs to be sacked. he is an idiot to a dangerous extent.

My understanding of PCSOs is that they are not allowed to direct traffic or deal with traffic matters. I get on very well with the PCSOs in our village and they do good community work but whenever I mention a traffic problem I am always told “It is only the full police who can deal with that”. They cannot even deal with parking offences so what they are donig trying to control “moving” traffic I cannot imagine. Or it would move if the bikers were allowed to get on with their business without interference from WCC.

That P.C.S.O. should not only be sacked with no redundency money, he should be taken to court and charged with “incitement to cause injury or death”.

At G20 I was driving a Routemaster bus in King William Street. There were 2 lines of police behind the bus, police in force close to the offside, protesters all around the bus when I was ORDERED, by a police sergeant, to reverse the bus into Sherborne Lane immediately, the order was accompanied with threats of arrest and of having the bus impounded. I am now suing the City of London Police for damage done to my bus, guess what, two police officers have lied several times in their witness statements.

You can’t get that bad at a job that quickly. He’s obviously had weeks of experience.

Dan FordJune 10th, 2010 at 6:40 am

Any news on what has happened to that guy yet?
